Louise is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and is fully accredited with the BABCP.An Occupational Therapist by background, Louise has 15 years experience of working in the NHS with people struggling with a range of emotional difficulties including psychosis, eating disorders, anxiety disorders and depression. Across her career she has worked with individuals from 14 years old to older adults. With regards CBT, Louise is experienced in working with people struggling with anxiety, low mood and low self-esteem. Louise uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) as well as CBT and has a keen interest in Compassion Focused Therapy.

Interests
Louise has many interests which she endeavours to pursue when time allows!! She is a keen knitter and potter and a novice bridge player. Louise enjoys running (most of the time!), walking, music, cooking and reading biographies.
Louise can be flexible as to when she can offer appointments, including evening and Saturday morning appointments.
