Professional Experience
Lucinder is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist who has depth of experience in treating a wide range of psychological problems associated with depression, anxiety and trauma. She is a qualified Mental Health Nurse by background, registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is provisionally accredited with the lead organisation and Professional Body, the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).
She has recently qualified as an Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) provider which has enhanced her work with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and allows the treatment of more complex trauma based needs as well as single event traumas in accordance with national guidelines (www.nice.org.uk).
Lucinder has extensive experience within NHS-based Mental Health Services across a span of 7 years. She have worked in the following areas: Acute In-Patient Psychiatric Care, Community settings, Forensic Secure Services (High and Low), Locked Door Rehabilitation, Specialist Mother and Baby Unit, Rehab Services and Older Adults. She remains a compassionate and caring therapist, placing the client’s needs at the centre of their care and treatment.

Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies (Mental Health), University of Derby.
Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy, University of Nottingham.
EMDR, Liverpool with Dr Derek Farrell.

Interests
Lucinder enjoys scuba-diving, walking, surfing, badminton and swimming. She is interested in fashion and listening to music and loves travelling. She adores her Golden Retriever, Harley.
